Well over half the seats for our first Hinckley Comedy Club show went in the first two hours after we shared the ticket link with our mailing list and WhatsApp community. If you booked a seat, told a friend or shared the news, thank you. It means a lot to have so many people behind us before we’ve even opened the doors.
We’ll see you on Thursday 11 March 2027 at Clubhouse 19, Hinckley Golf Club, for our first night of live stand-up in Hinckley.
Who’s on at our first Hinckley show?
Rob Rouse headlines the opening night. You might know him from Upstart Crow or 8 Out of 10 Cats. Live, he’s a wonderfully animated storyteller who can take an everyday situation somewhere completely unexpected.
Oliver Bowler opens the show, Kirt Fontaine brings his musical stand-up to the bill, and Harvey Hawkins is your host. Harvey’s a favourite across our clubs and has a knack for making a room feel welcome from the first joke.
One of our favourite things about putting a line-up together is hearing people on the way out talking about an act they’d never seen before. You might book because you know Rob from the telly and go home telling your mates about someone you’ve just discovered.
What to expect at Clubhouse 19
When we look at a room, we think about the whole evening. Can you park easily? Is there time to catch up with your friends before the show? Can you see the stage from the back?
At Clubhouse 19, there’s free parking on site and we’ll set the room out in theatre-style rows. The doors and bar open at 7pm, so you’ve got time to get a drink, find your seats and settle in before the show starts at 8pm.
If you’ve seen our In Bed for 10 shows advertised in Burbage, those are our early Sunday shows at Sketchley Grange Hotel. The first Burbage evening show sold out in 10 days, so we added an afternoon performance. Hinckley has its own home at Clubhouse 19 and its own Thursday night line-up.
We’ve had full houses in Daventry, Polesworth and Coalville, and the best part is seeing people come back with friends they want to share the night with. We’re looking forward to getting to know the Hinckley crowd in just the same way.
